 I didn't use the bike rack outside the pub because it turned out that it wasn't actually secured to the ground so anybody who wanted to steal the bike would just have taken the rack as well. I locked it to this tree instead. The barman and a couple of locals must have been watching me though because as soon as I went inside, they told me that I could move it into the pub's store room. I took them up on that offer because the forecast is predicting a bit of rain during the night.
