![]() St. Michael's Mount is a tidal island. When I was here on Monday, there were constant streams of tourists walking to and from it along the causeway. You can still see where the causeway is but now it's under water and boats to and from what is now the island are sailing over the top of it. That must mean that there are periods in the tide cycle when you can't get to it by land or by boat.
