 I will come to find on this trip that major towns and cities in the West Country somehow hide themselves remarkably well: you don't seem them coming until you actually enter them. Up until this point, this has felt like a little rural road way out in the countryside so I was surprised to see the sign on the left sddenly tell me that I was only a quarter of a mile away from County Hall.
