As somebody who lives on this road in Worcestershire I don't like to admit this but the A449 has muc... ... and they seem to be in the process of becoming even better. The next few days are forecast to be very hot and what little wind there... The restaurant is a lot quieter now than it was when I checked in. The car park has emptied out too.... I thought this might be the diversion but it isn't. This is heading East. There's what was called the Britannia Stadium when I visited it 10 years ago. Now it's the Bet365 St... The River Trent. The pile of bike carcasses looks ominous. I've found my way back to Route 5. What's for sale for £500? The railings? That must be the place which was marked on the map as "Waterworld". A view from the top of Sneyd Hill, between the Hanley and Tunstall parts of Stoke-on-Trent. The remaining 10 miles of today will be on this old railway line.
