 While I was having that rest, I saw that green vehicle coming along the track kicking up dirt. It stopped by the cows and flashed its lights at me. I interpreted that as meaning that the driver wanted me to move off the junction, even though there would actually have been room for him to get past me, so I moved a few metres away. The vehicle remained stationary as if he wanted me to go further but I was still getting my strength back and didn't want to carry on up the hill just yet. After perhaps 30 seconds the driver gave up waiting for me to move and continued past me onto the main road. At that point I realised what he had been warning me about. The white boxes which he is transporting are beehives which aren't sealed. Bees were constantly coming out of it and several of them took an interest in me. After extracting the ones which had got themselves stuck in my hair, I got back on the bike and left the area quickly.
