 I've seen signs saying that it's illegal to pass a stopped school bus from either direction. There must be more to it than that though because I've just seen a few vehicles come along here and go straight past this traffic jam which has school buses in it. In fact one of the vehicles which did that was another school bus. I guess that law must only apply when they are stopped with the doors open.
