 In 2017, I stayed within the roughly 100 km-wide path of the total eclipse all the way from the Pacific to the Atlantic. I'm not intentionally doing a similar thing this year but I have in fact been within the path of this year's total eclipse ever since I landed at Dallas Fort Worth Airport, and I will be for another day of so. However, just about where that car is is where I leave the band of totality of the 2017 eclipse.
