 I had planned to come to Cape Girardeau on my 2017 trip but on that occasion I ended up wasting a day replacing a broken pedal and retrieving my driving licence, so then to save time I changed my plans and crossed the river at Chester instead. I'm glad I've finally got here. Often my impression of a town is coloured by what the weather was like when I was there, but that can't be the case with Cape Girardeau. Here it rained so hard it destroyed my phone, and I still like it.
