 After a ride on some quiet residential streets, I have to end the day by riding out of the city on this stroad because this is where all the hotels are. Steak 'n Shake is another restaurant chain which I am slightly obsessed with. What I really like about it is that its branches are mostly in the Midwest so seeing one left me know that that's where I am. I didn't pass any in Texas or Arkansas but here I am in Missouri and one of the first restaurants I see is a Steak 'n Shake. I won't be eating here tonight though. I did plan to eat at the steakhouse next door to my hotel but it turns out that the hotel itself does free drinks and bar snacks from 5:30 until 7:00 each evening.
