 It's now a day later. The sky was grey all day and there was some rain but not really all that much. The forecast said that the wind would have been aginst me if I had been riding but from my window I couldn't see it moving the trees. I spent the day writing a quiz round for Friday and writing captions for pictures of the roads which I visited last year. It seems a bit silly to be still working on last year's holiday during this year's but each day I am posting a picture of that day's road on Mastodon, with as much of an explanation of it as I can find. I've now written all the captions for the first half of the year. In doing all that, I didn't realise how late it had got. I've just come out to get some food and found that the Chinese buffet is not in business any more and the pizza place will be closing for the night in ten minutes. All the chairs inside are up on the tables and I guess that the one car parked outside belongs to the person who is cleaning up in there. I won't go in now and ask for a pizza. I went to Burger King instead and even there I didn't get as much food as I wanted, due to a misunderstanding.
