 Ever since the start of this trip, I have been staying close to the route of the old railway line which went from Dallas via Paris to Texarkana, bacause that's a flat route. In theory the line is being converted into a bike trail but in reality only a few sections of that are open. This section clearly isn't because it's still got railway tracks on it. A little further along today's route I would see actual trains parked on them.
