 The room has something like 11 mains sockets but only one of them is the proper European design and that has the television plugged into it. I don't want to unplug that because it might not like it. For some reason over here, the owners are using a three-way adaptor instead of just using one of the other nearby sockets. One of the things which was plugged into it was the minibar, which also had a European plug so it needed an adaptor. That was the only other place where I could plug any of my things so since there was nothing perishable in the minibar, I've plugged my things in in its place. That means that we now have this cascade of four adaptors to convert from one socket to three, and then from Italian to European to British to USB.
