 Ever since two nights ago, when I booked a room for last night in Santarém, the name has seemed familiar to me but I couldn't work out why. I thought perhaps I was confusing it with Santander. It was only when I just saw this McDonald's that I realised I have been here before. This was the third of the 72 branches which I visited on my 2011 trip. Since it was right next to my road I decided to pull in and try to recreate one of the pictures from that trip but finding the car park entrance was harder than I expected and they seem to have changed the outdoor seating. I think that where I am standing now used to be a road.
