 The other couple here are from Utrecht. They haven't ridden here from there like I have but they are in the middle of something like an 800 km cycling trip. We helped ourselves to a small breakfast buffet from the dining room and ate it out on the verandah. While we were there, the owner made a brief appearance to put new cushions on the chairs and to say that he was going out again. He likes to live dangerously. This time, he's not just gone out and left the place unlocked but he's also left three unattended candles burning on the desk, next to two signs which say "no smoking".
