 There's a coaxial cable which runs the length of the corridor and ends under the grandfather clock. There's also a lift near here. I haven't worked out where the downstairs entrance to it is but the piece of paper which was left for me at reception states that I should read the instructions inside the lift before using it so I'll probably give it a miss.
