 I missed a turning and rode for 10 km in the wrong direction, only realising my mistake when I reached the town of Cleveland and consulted the map. I'm glad the town was there because I had been heading straight for the edge of the path of totality and would have ridden out of it if I had gone another 2 km. Now I'm making my way back to the right road.
