 A week ago, I booked a room here for last night but then I cancelled it a few hours later. A couple of days ago, I booked tonight instead. Somehow the people here didn't get informed of my cancellation. Yesterday evening, just before they locked up the office for the night, I got a lovely message from them saying that they had left this room unlocked for me with the light on. I replied to explain the misunderstanding and when they checked today, they saw that I had cancelled it. They've only charged me for one night but I feel a bit sorry for putting them to that trouble.
