The town of Atchison, where I have stopped to get a drink at a petrol station. It is full of people buying lottery tickets. Apparently, it's a big payout day. There was something about it on the television in the breakfast room this morning. I think they said that it's $2 to play, with a 1 in 200 million chance of winning $700 million. I don't believe that it can have fixed odds and a fixed payout though because if a billion people bought tickets, I don't know where the company would find the money to pay five $700 million prizes.

While I was sitting at a bench outside drinking my drinks, I would be snuffled by a small dog. It must have come from a farm because is owner explained that it wasn't used to being in a town.
