 That's Yorkshire done for the moment. I cut through the modern county of Lancashire twice last week to get in and out of Southport but haven't visited any grounds there yet. What surprised me when researching this trip was how badly the Yorkshire teams are doing these days. I've always associated places like Leeds and Sheffield with top-flight football but this season, Yorkshire doesn't have a single team in the top division. The first chart here shows all the teams on my list from Yorkshire. The second shows those from the modern county of Lancashire, which doesn't include Liverpool or Manchester.
