For a while when I was thinking of making this a tour of every British city, I considered starting and ending here. I didn't realise that my planned route for the football tour would be coming through here too so it was a surprise when I recognised the place. What's interesting about it is that Leeds and Bradford are one of only three pairs of cities in Britain which touch each other. The border runs very close to the line of this pedestrian crossing although the crossing wasn't here when I was planning that trip so I can't be any more precise. The border is certainly at an angle to the houses so at least one of them, possibly the one with the man watching me out of the window, is partly in one city and partly in another. As I rode off, I wondered if his house and the Royal Courts of Justice are the only such properties in Britain.
