When I said that Hartlepool and Cambridge were the only grounds that gave me concern, I forgot about Bristol Rovers' Memorial Ground. Before this year's match fixtures were announced, I had wondered whether I should watch a match here as that might be the only way to be able to reach it. I decided that wasn't necessary as there's probably a club shop somewhere in the ground and that it must be somewhere where the public can reach it I would even have been happy to buy a scarfe or something if that gave me an excuse to touch the ground. Indeed, the notice on the gates next to the word "BRISTOL" tells delivery drivers to take parcels to the club shop, which it says is clearly visible. Unfortunately, it also says that the shop closes at five o'clock.

I thought I was going to be here hours ago. I was going at a great speed for the first three hours. Then the hills started again, there was the debacle with the railway and I've just had to spend half an hour mending a spoke.
