 I've reached the end of the proper continental part of Denmark now. The remaining part of what at first glance looks like the same peninsular is actually a separate island called Vendsyssel-Thy, which I will be crossing tomorrow. The blocks of flats are on that island. I don't know why there is a big digital clock showing 14:00 below the control tower. Perhaps that's when the bridge will next open.
