 A few things have surprised me about this hotel. The first is that it does breakfast. The web page said that there were no meal options. The second is that apparently you can hire a mobile phone here. The third is that, apart from on the emergency evacuation plan notice by the door, there is nothing at all written in Icelandic. Everything is just in English, even the instructions on the fire blanket by the hob. The receptionist sounded like he came from New Zealand. I'm not sure how visitors from elsewhere in Iceland would manage here.
