 This seems a bit upmarket for McDonalds. I'm very impressed with these McCafés. The only one I encountered before Germany was on the Champs Elyseés and the prices were enormous. Here, the cakes are very big, very rich and excellent value for money. The chocolate cake alone, which is 39% sugar and 29% fat by mass, gives 868 kcal. This is the second time I've had this combination today. My excuse is that I forgot to take a photograph of the first one. At the first restaurant, I also didn't think to take a picture of the urinals which were, bizarrely, full of fresh ice. Today is the first day in a long time, possibly the first day on the entire trip, when I've had access to the nutritional information for everything I've eaten. Thanks to these cakes, today's total was an impressive 7.18 Mcal. I haven't weighed myself at all on this trip but it felt like I lost some weight in Spain and am putting it back on now.
