 I decided that because there was no chance of there being a restaurant tonight, I would take the opportunity to wash my smart evening shirt. I realised last night that that was a bit of bad planning because I already have to wash two sets of cycling gear tonight, not having had the chance to wash yesterday's on the ferry. Now the rain has meant that I've had to wash my thick trousers too. I doubt if any of this stuff is going to dry overnight, especially as I didn't have many towels to wring it out in, it's still raining outside so the air is damp, and this whole area of floor is now wet, despite my best mopping efforts, because the bathroom is a badly-designed wet room. One other issue today is that I've broken my glasses. I have got a spare pair there are only four days left of this trip so it seems unlikely that I will break those too. Having said that, I have broken a third pair of earphones today.
