 This is the road which I should have been riding on yesterday and today. It has a good shoulder for most of the way and looks like it would have been a good ride until it got close to Istanbul, where the traffic started to get pretty heavy. I didn't spot very many hotels or motels on the stretch of road where I had been hoping to stay last night, but then I did fall asleep for a while.
