 The silver and gold chairs in the garden look like they are for a wedding or something. I saw and heard several wedding convoys honking past here, sometimes with exotic-sounding droning wailing pipe music and drums. Unfortunately, another spoke has just broken and the two about which I was uncertain are definitely not suitable. Somebody has told me about a bike shop in Istanbul which sounds ideal. I was hoping to be able to get there but it's about 140 miles away and I don't feel happy leaving Edirne with no spare spokes now that breakages have become common again. I spent an hour or so fixing the bike altough I don't know why because I'm not at all sure that I will be riding it any further.
