 Okay, where next? It seems that while the Foreign and Commonwealth Office were making a fuss about nothing over passport stamps and rabies, they were making a bit of an understatement when they said "British banks do not generally exchange Dinars". The Bulgarian bank just a couple of hundred meters from the border didn't exchange them either. I used up almost all of my dinars paying this morning's hotel bill but the last kept few until I was over the border so that I would still have some if I hadn't been allowed to leave. It looks like I am stuck with them now.
