 The Place des Héros in Arras. After the rain, it's turned into a sunny, cloudless evening. The forecast tomorrow is for good weather until the evening, when it will start to rain a bit, and a wind going in roughly my direction all day. I've finished everything I've got to do here tonight so I would have liked to get an early night and been on the bike in good time tomorrow. That won't be possible though because I'll have to wait for the bike shop to open before I can even know whether I'll be able to leave town tomorrow. The bike shop which I thought I had identified turned out to sell mopeds but the hotel receptionist looked up another nearby shop, which I haven't been to see yet. Disappointingly, he started speaking in English towards the end of our conversation. I had thought we were doing all right in French.
