 Hervis is the chain of sports shops which I have seen advertised. They were also sponsors of the bike race which I saw yesterday. Their website seemed very well designed. Even though it was all in Slovene, it was easy to find information about where their branches are. I wasn't able to find any spokes in here but then I've never seen them in large stores like this. There were plenty of lights to choose from and I also bought some new brake pads, just because they were there. I had thought of replacing my tyres and chain but they didn't seem to have either in the right size. My existing ones are fine for the moment but I think I should now start using what Dave Gorman calls "destroyer tactics" and replace things whenever I can because I don't know when I will next get the chance. The shop also had several rows of shiny new touring bikes, lined up and ready to be ridden away. My bike isn't in a bad enough state yet for me to want to replace it but it might be nice if there are still shops like this in another thousand miles or so.
