Minster Lovell Hall was built by Lord William Lovell in 1435 and extended by his son, Lord Frances Lovell, who fought at the battle of Bosworth Field. It was dismantled in 1747, although obviously not completely. I first came here with my school's cycling club about 15 years ago and somehow seem to have ended up returning for one reason or another every few years. I'm only here now because of the great deal I got on the hotel down the road.
