I missed the first bike shop but found the second, which had a few parts for sale but no suitable tyres. The man there directed me back to the first shop, saying that it was behind a pizza restaurant which looks like a church. That will be here then. This shop is called "Zion Cycles" but really "Zion Tyres" would be a more appropriate name. It had a wonderful selection of tubes, tyres and everything else I needed. The man there even let me use the tools and equipment in his garage. There's no need to stop in St. George now so I might as well stick with my booked hotels and ride on to Las Vegas. I think part of me might even be considering going further than that; I've bought a spare tyre. The man in the shop says that tyres never last long in desert conditions and he needs to replace his every few weeks.
