 This sign lists some of the hotels in Green River, although not the one where I will be staying. The second sign lists restaurants and the third gives petrol stations and campsites. What we need now is a panel next to each hotel's logo displaying whether it's full of not, like you get with car parks. I called to book a room here just before leaving Moab. It was all pretty normal until the end of the conversation when the receptionist asked where I was already. When I said I was in Moab, he asked why I couldn't stay there. I don't think he understands the concept of tourism, in that it involves moving around. We didn't get off to a great start when I arrived at his hotel and his first words to me were 'excuse me, what are you doing?'
