 Finding a shady place to repair a puncture. The tyre needed topping up a couple of times after this and was generally running a bit flat throughout the afternoon. It didn't seem to slow me down much though. It was only an hour or so later when I saw another dead snake that I wondered about the wisdom of venturing into the long grass like this.
