A four-lane section of the old road, on the way to a bridge known as the Devil's Elbow. There are no businesses along this stretch so it gets very little traffic. The road surface here is terrible. It's made up of big concrete slabs. Most of them have cracked, they don't meet up properly at the edges and there are huge pot-holes everwhere. Concrete roads are almost always like that. Luckily, the dearth of other traffic means that I am able to hunt across the full width in my attempts to find a good bit.
