The Future Energy and Conservation Centre. I've turned round to look at it, which is why we can see the fronts of the turbines. Unfortunately, the wind is still against me, for the sixth day in a row. The forecast for the next few days doesn't show any change. Various cycling websites insisted that there was no prevailing wind direction in the USA. I'm not convinced of that at the moment.

There was one of the most thorough weather forecasts I have ever seen on the television this morning though. It said that there were a couple of rain showers coming and specified the exact time at which they would arrive in each town. The sky was very dark this morning and I expected the worst but, just as the forecast promised, it cleared up beautifully by late morning and I only experienced the slightest hint of a shower.
