Approaching the town of Quaker City, I passed this horse-drawn buggy going the other way. I didn't photograph any of the Amish ones in Pennsylvania because I believe they don't like it. I assumed that the people in this one probably don't live by the same standards though because there was a stereo blaring out of it. There were about four people inside and two on the roof, which must have made going uphill hard for the horse.

Luckily, these are virtually the last of the hills. From here, it should be flat all the way to the Mississippi, probably about five days away. That's particularly lucky since I just had to repair a slow puncture which was almost certainly caused by those gravel roads earlier and, in doing so, have somehow managed to get the bike stuck in a high gear. I don't know what I would have done if that had happened before now. As it is, I can probably ride it as far as a bike shop in Columbus, or maybe even Indianapolis, without much difficulty.
