Barnesville, which has machines selling some of the cheapest cans of drink I have seen for a long time. Some of them are less than 20p. Normally, drinks are a dollar from these machines. I was unable to use them for a couple of days because I didn't have any dollar notes. I've been hoarding them since then and now have what probably counts as a fistful. It's odd that there don't appear to be dollar coins. In fact I haven't seen a coin bigger than a quarter. I suppose that if a system like that is good enough for Estonia it's good enough for anywhere, although at least the notes in Estonia aren't all the same colour.

I think I got through about 6 litres of drinks during today's ride. It was pretty warm. During the afternoon, most of the signs I saw were showing about 33 degrees, which concurred with the television weather forecast. It looks like tomorrow might be slightly warmer, although not the 41 degrees which the BBC were predicting a few days ago.
