 This is the first example I've seen of what I once heard called 'single-storey America', large out-of-town shops and restaurants surrounded by even larger car parks. It has been suggested that Wal-Mart would be a good place to get an American SIM card for my phone. I could do with getting to the hotel now though and I don't know if the shop will be open later or if it will open at all tomorrow, on the 4th of July. It looks a long way away even from here.
