 Breakfast isn't included in my room rate here and based on how closed the pubic areas of the hotel were yesterday, I didn't expect to be able to get any anyway so I decided to come across the road to the supermarket instead. As soon as I left my room, I could hear the clattering of plates and it turned out that breakfast was in full swing, with some guests even having theirs at the outdoor tables. I've come here anyway though because as well as getting breakfast I need to replenish my sweets. It does mean that I can try some of these local Basque tomatoes.
