The reviews of this hotel weren't great. I only booked it because it's close to the bike shop. The main gripes which reviewers had were that the staff don't speak English, the rooms don't have air conditioning and the WiFi is poor.

When I got here, the hotel was locked. There was one sign on the door giving a phone number and another saying "enter through the bar", with an arrow pointing the way. I walked right round the building and found that all the doors, including the bar, were locked and unattended. Fortunately, when I got back to the main entrance, a Spanish couple were also waiting there and had already rang the number so somebody arrived to check us in quite quickly. He actually spoke more English than the people at some of the previous hotels, and the check-in process was pretty simple.

As for the heat, I don't think there's any problem at all. The weather is a bit cooler than it was a few days ago and there's a powerful fan which doesn't even need cleaning.

I don't know how well the WiFi works because the password is handwritten on the same bit of cardboard as my room number, by somebody who presumably does it several times each day and has got sloppy about it. It looks like it starts with "U" or "Li", then "r" or "v", then "e" or "o". After that, the rest seems quite legible. I've tried every combination and failed to connect. A few of those times I got a message that the password was wrong but most times it was just a general failure message. I think that they might deliberately write the password ambguously so that guests think that they are the ones getting it wrong and don't realise that it just doesn't work.
