 There's a lot of stuff here that you don't get in a normal hotel room. The little landing where the stairs change direction has four doors on it. Three lead into my sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. Two of those are kept locked. The fourth is the door to the pub's kitchen. That does mean that I can hear all the activity in the kitchen from my room, and that when I'm trying to unlock my door I'm in the way of anybody who's trying to carry food between the kitchen and the pub downstairs.
