 The cycle lane of the Alderley Edge bypass has junctions with the crossing roads, but the road part of the bypass doesn't. That means that you can ride the whole length of the bypass without having to give way to cars. I suppose any cars which want to get onto the crossing roads must still have to go into the village to do it.
