 When I said that I was in Bristol during last night's quiz, sombody pointed out that this weekend is the famous Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. I remember seeing pictures of that when I was a child about 40 years ago. When I checked I found that the mass ascents of balloons are happening at 6 am and 6 pm each day. I'm in the North-West corner of the city. The balloons take off from Bristol City's ground in the South-West corner and the wind is blowing East so I didn't expect any of them to get close to here.
