 Here's my hotel. When I entered, I saw branding saying that it belonged to a chain called Crest Hotels, and wondered whether it was somehow a vestige of the major hotel chain of that name from the 1980s which had somehow survived long after most of the others has closed down. I don't think it can be though. Wikipedia says that Crest Hotels were absorbed into the Posthouse brand in 1990. From the look and feel of the place though, I would entirely believe that it used to be one of those old Crests. It feels quite nostalgic. Its the first hotel on this trip which has had dedicated bike parking spaces, although...
