 Here I had to stop to change the rear inner tube because the old one has lost quite a lot of air in the last few minutes. When I investigated, it seemed that it hadn't been pucntured but had instead just been worn down by friction with the tyre, to the extent that it was no longer air-tight. The rear tyre itself has worn down faster than I would expect. I've only done about 350 miles on it and it's pretty much bald. A man who was passing in a pick-up truck stopped while I was changing the tube to see if I needed any help. He said that he has a bike the same as mine.
