 Here are my reservations for tonight and tomorrow night, which are the nights at the start and end of the day of the eclipse. They are for similar rooms in hotels of the same brand, both within the path of the total eclipse, and were booked at about the same time. I'm a little concerned that tomorrow's booking is less than a third of the price of tonight's and doesn't use the phrase "Your reservation is confirmed". I've just checked on line again though and it certainly looks to be booked correctly.
