 The surrounding premises look quite run-down. I don't know whether any of these businesses are actually open. I have just learned though that there is a Subway about half a mile away so that's breakfast sorted. The railway line is about 3 km from here but I can hear train horns from my room. That means that everybody in the town must be able to hear them. From inside the room I can't tell whether they are going North or South though.
