 My hotel here in Texarkana is the building on the left. By the time I get there I will have done 103 km today, which is my longest ride in over 5 years. The following wind made it pretty easy. I don't feel tired or sore at all and my back is feeling a lot better. The hotel is close to a selection of restaurants and a large mall whose main anchor store is a Dillards, which is a department store chain based in Arkansas and whose branches are mostly in the South East of the United States. I will be here for two nights and thought this would be a good location to be in because it would allow me to buy whatever I want. As it happens, the only type of shop I actually want to visit tomorrow is a bike shop and the only one of those is downtown. I couldn't have stayed much closer to it though because downtown Texarkana doesn't seem to have any hotels, unlike Downtown Dallas which had loads of huge hotels and not much else.
