 This is the first bike that I've had in about 30 years which doesn't have quick-release wheels. When I was preparing for the trip, I didn't really appreciate how useful the bike was going to be so I didn't actualy research how to service it. Today, I started by trying to fix the original inner tube without removing the wheel. I found and patched two pairs of holes but it still wouldn't hold air. Then I tried to see if I could get the wheel off. It turned out that one of the two spanners that I've brought was the right size so I managed. It involved removing all these pieces.
